You know you're getting older when you appreciate going to hardware stores (just like your parents). I added to the growing up cliché by heading to Clas Ohlson on a Sunday.
Clas Ohlson is another Swedish chain making a name for itself on the highstreet, kind of like a useful IKEA, without the meatballs. They specialise in hardware, home, leisure, electrical and multimedia products, and the store has been a welcome addition to the Kingston market place.
Though most of the items I bought weren't glamorous, I did find these tea light holders for an absolute steal at £1.99. I love the industrial look and the simplicity of these jars. Now I just need a home of my own to decorate, sigh.
Psssttt...I'm on the look out for an industrial shelving unit if anyone has any recommendations?
